Random Randomness

As the world turns, another week goes by and with it another week of wrestling and other things in this random world. And here we are, 7 days away from the biggest event for wrestling fans worldwide and here I am with nothing to talk about. Nah just kidding, why would I be here if I had nothing to talk about, so lets get going:
1. Wow what an NCAA tournament thus far. So many upsets, so many people’s brackets ruined. So much so that I was worried about my Syracuse Orange would be the first ever #1 seed to lose to a #16 seed. Luckily that didn’t happen, but other powerhouses like Kansas, Villanova, and New Mexico are all gone now, which is a shock.
2. Oops, iMPACT! did it again. Not only did Monday’s program’s rating fall, but The Thursday replay (which wasn’t announced until Wednesday) got the exact same rating. Word of advice, get rid of Hogan now, and start over.
3. Stone Cold Steve Austin has a straight to DVD movie coming out Tuesday. Lets hope it’s better than The Condemned which blew.
4. So, unlike I said last week it’ll be Orton vs. Rhodes vs. DiBiase at Wrestlemania, not a tag match as I was hoping. Apparently Kofi Kingston is in the doghouse for botching a RKO in a match a few months ago. So weither Kingston ends up on the card or in some sort of WWE.com match before the event is still up in the air. I think this is crap, Kingston is a talented individual and he should be on the card.
5. Anyone else notice Batista blade on Monday. You have to watch the replay after it happened to actually see it, but it happened.
6. Bret Hart faked in injury? Shocker. Next thing your gonna tell me is that this wrestling stuff is not real. Now in all seriousness, it’s gonna be so awesome to see Vince in the sharpshooter.
7. Gorgeous George and Stu Hart have been added to the 2010 WWE Hall Of Fame class. The final inductee (to be announced this week) will be Bob Uecker.
8. Speaking of Hall Of Fame’s, ABBA was inducted into the Rock N’Roll Hall of Fame this week. Disco fans everywhere are happy. The rest of the world, including Matt Striker,could care less.
9. I think I figured out why I don’t like the NXT program, and it’s not the program itself, it’s just that I miss the guys that I saw every week on ECW who have pretty much disappeared since the ECW program ended. Plus I do think it is kind of pointless to have 8 guys battle for 1 spot when at the end of the all most of these guys will end up on the roster anyway.
10. Punk vs. Rey is now official with the stipulation that if Punk wins, Rey will have to join the straight edge society. I personally would’ve liked to have seen a street fight between the two, but you cant always get what you want.
