Joe, G, and JT are joined this week by WrasslorMonkey from Wrestling With Text, Jonkind from Wonderpod Online, our very own Drowgoddess, and have audio sent in by “Professor Salmon and Zwan.” This unique cast of characters spend the first hour giving their predictions and thoughts on tonight’s SummerSlam event from the WWE, and the second hour is spent, as usual, talking wrestling news. Topics of discussion this week include injuries to Yoshi Tatsu and Pope D’Angelo Dinero, reactions to Kevin Nash’s comments about Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit, A.W.’s continued ranting, JBL’s thoughts on wrestlers “stealing” moves, the Scooby Doo/WWE collaboration, Claire Lynch’s apparent TNA departure, and much, much more!

You can find our guests for this week’s show elsewhere on the interwebs. Jonkind is around on Wonderpod-Online, Wrasslor Monkey runs Wrestling With Text, Professor Salmon runs the music blog Music Times Two and works for Original Stampede Wrestling, and Zwan is behind Ailean Environmental Ltd.

Welcome everybody to a (kinda) special edition of Random Randomness. Today’s edition will be in two parts with part 1 being a shorter than normal Random Randomness and part two be a shortened edition of the Night Of Champions Roundtable featuring myself and Gee. So without further ado, lets get this show on the road:

Part 1, Random Randomness:

1. I picked up Sully Erna’s solo CD “Avalon” this week. Who is this you ask? Well for those who don’t know, he is the lead singer of Godsmack. So the result is a great CD just as long as you go into it not expecting it to be a Godsmack CD.

2. Weezer’s new CD “Hurley” also came out this week too and is also worth checking out if you are into their stuff.

3. RIP Bastion Booger.

4. Can someone tell me why is John Morrison not in the main event picture? His performance on Monday proved he could be capable of being in it.

5. R-Truth rapped his new theme song last Monday, at the same time paint dried somewhere I think.

6. Ezekiel Jackson is working dark matches, so hopefully we’ll see him soon.

7. Good to see Regal and Goldust on RAW even though they had to do each other’s gimmicks for a match during the totally “random” roulette.

8. Jericho moved up to almost Cena like status by defeating the tag team champions in a handicap “steel cage” match this week. Oh and thanks to Davis Hart Smith for his assist in eliminating himself early in the match to make it easier for Jericho to win.

9. Remember when WWE was hight on pushing the Uso’s as a monster tag team? Yeah me neither.

10. With the S.E.S. now disbanded, Luke Gallows, your days are numbered.

11. Why do I think that tonight’s CM Punk vs Big Show match is gonna become a tag match? Oh yeah because of Alberto Del Rio’s involvement at the end of Punk vs Christian and also because of Christian’s challenge to Del Rio.

12. Stop trying to teach Hornswoggle how to speak, please just stop.

13.Remember Jack Swagger, World Champion? And yet he hasn’t been on a ppv in almost two months. Wow has your stock fallen. I wonder what he did to piss off management.

Ok I think that’s all for this part now let’s go on to the Roundtable portion of this article.

Part 2, Night Of Champions Roundtable:

Welcome everybody to the Night Of Champions Roundable, I am your host JT and joining me tonight is none other than our resident Smackdown reviewer Gee! Welcome and thanks foe being here.

Gee: Thanks for having me buddy, it’s an honor to be here. now without further ado, lets get this show on the road!

Match 1: Women’s/Diva unification title match Melina vs. Layla

Gee- Don’t really care. On Smackdown changed it to McCool. Layla is all pissed off I guess, so Melena for the win.

JT- I agree this match is pointless and will lead to the Lay Cool split when Melina wins.

Match 2: Intercontinental Title Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston

Gee- Dolph. I hate to say this, but the chase will continue as I don’t see where either of these guys would go from here if the feud ends.

JT- yeah but the feud doesn’t end here if Kofi wins, Dolph will at least have his rematch clause, but yeah with the stipulations in favor of Kofi (if Ziggler gets DQ’d or counted out, he loses the title) Ziggler should win here.

Match 3: US Title match: The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan

Gee- Daniel Bryan for the upset win. I call it an upset because having the title on the heelish Miz is indeed “awesome.” On the same token, I am thinking Miz will start teasing the briefcase cash-in (or possibly even at the PPV). I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Miz lose both the title and be the first person to lose a Money in the Bank contract-cash-in at the same PPV. If not here, I think this will happen.

JT- Dude it’s like you are reading my mind with this, thought great minds do think alike, Bryan to win here with The Miz not being done for the night yet.

Match 4: Tag Team Title match: The Hart Dyansty vs. (insert random tag team)

Gee- Looks like they’re up against McIntyre and Rhodes. Going with the Harts to retain.

JT- We hardly see The Harts in the last two months and now they have a match against ??? Really? I see some sort of mini-Gauntlet match here where they take out teams like the Uso’s and the Douchebusters out quickly only to be defeated by the last tag team to come out, so expect a title change here.

Match 5: Big Show vs. CM Punk

Gee- With the SES disintegrating, this one is a wee bit difficult to assess. If the plan is to complete dissolve Punk’s faction, I’d argue that Luke Gallows will cost Punk the match in some capacity allowing the Big Show to win. So I will go with that.

JT- If Punk is supposed to be getting this huge push I’ve been hearing about than it should start here with the biggest guy on the roster. So I’m gonna pick Punk for the win.

Match 6: World Title Match: Kane vs. The Undertaker

Gee- Kane to retain. This feud will be (sadly) drawn out.

JT- Don’t be so negative, with all of their feuds, this is the first time it’s been for a World or WWE title so this excites me a little. Kane should win here sin (ironically) next month is the Hell In A Cell ppv where this all began (though in match form only).

Match 7: WWE title Match: Sheamus vs. SuperCena vs. Moongoose McQueen vs. Los Conquistidor Numero Uno vs. Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton

Gee- I think Sheamus will somehow retain here. Not that I like that outcome, but feel all the other drama and soap opera stories will put everyone else into distraction allowing for a sneaky albino win. If I chose who I WANT to win, I’d go with Wade Barrett. Time to step the Nexus up to the NXT level.

JT- I think Sheamus will retain also but after a long and grueling matchup, I also think a certain Money In The Bank contract will be attempted to be cashed in but when Sheamus stands up, The Miz goes running.

Well here you go the Night of CHampions Roundtable. I want to thank my guest Gee for all of his picks and I want to thank you all for reading and I will see you all next time!

Hello all and welcome to the Money In the Bank Roundtable, I am you host JT and tonight I am joined by BWF writer G as well as RYTMAN. Welcome guys I hope we have a good discussion for this Sunday’s pay per view. So without further ado, let’s get this show on the road:

1. Getting the crap out of the way early this time, Women’s title match: Kelly Kelly vs Layla:

RYTMAN- Layla is the ONLY reason to care. Sadly, Kelly’s getting it.

G- Layla El retains. This is the only plotline on the show involving women.

JT- Sadly I agree with RYTMAN Kelly Kelly wins just to piss me off.

2. Diva’s title match: Eve vs Alicia Fox:

RYTMAN- SERIOUSLY?!?!? Christ… Eve. The less of two evils.

G- Another waste of time… Torres gets the win I guess.

JT- Yeah what they said, I’m picking Eve here.

3. Undisputed Tag Team Title match: The Uso’s vs The Hart Dynasty:

RYTMAN- The Uso’s not winning would make this fued a whole WASTE OF TIME!

G- I am thinking it will be the Usos, and ideally have the Harts chase them all the way to Summerslam (yeah, I know a short chase) for a rematch.

JT- I’m going with the Hart’s here. The Uso’s just don’t seem ready for it yet and we’ve barely even seen them in action since debuting.

4. Smackdown MITB match: Kane vs Big Show vs Drew McIntyre vs Chrisitan vs Matt Hardy vs Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston vs “Dashing” Cody Rhodes

RYTMAN- I’m predicting Drew goes halfway up the ladder then the case gets lowered to him, the heat would be NUCLEAR!

G- This one has got to be Drew McIntyre.

JT- That would be awesome, but McIntyre is probably gonna win this one, but I’m gonna make hell freeze over and make my pick CODY RHODES! Yes the guy I’ve hated on for years and I’m picking him to win Money In The Bank,

5. RAW MITB match: Randy Orton vs John Morrison vs Ted DiBiase vs The Miz vs Chris Jericho vs Mark Henry vs Edge vs Evan Bourne

RYTMAN- Edge, because Cena’s winning his match.

G- I hate predicting these things… so many variables. The most entertaining guy potentially here would be The Miz or Evan Bourne. However, the guy who makes the most sense to me to win is Randy Orton.

JT- There are so many good choices for this match and it could be any one of these guy’s (except Mark Henry, sorry) and WWE is trying to make it look like it’s Randy Orton who wins it but I don’t see it happening. I guy I do see winning it, the guy with the Million Dollar belt, Ted DiBiase.

6. World Title Match: Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio ©:

RYTMAN-I WANT SWAGGER so…

Rey takes it.

G- Swagger wins here.

JT- I want Swagger to win too, but knowing WWE and how they love running this Rey is an underdog gimmick into the ground, I see Rey retaining here.

7. WWE title match: John Cena vs Sheamus © in a Steel Cage:

RYTMAN- I wanna call Sheamus `cause I think he’s gonna turn out to be the “inside man” for Nexus.

G- The better plot would have Sheamus win, get killed by Nexus to have Cena save him and continue their shaky alliance. However, I think we’ll see Nexus in some capacity in this match. Sadly, Cena wins.

JT- I’m gonna say Sheamus here and if the RAW Money In The Bank winner is a babyface, he cashes it in right there only to fail due to Nexus interference.

Well there you have it the Money In The Bank Roundtable. Thanks to G and RYTMAN for participating and thank you all for reading and see you all next time.

TNA’s “Victory Road” pay-per-view of 2008 took place in my city, Houston, Texas, and was a rather awesome show. “Victory Road” of 2009 was quite possibly the worst wrestling ppv in the history of wrestling ppvs, with the possible exception of “Halloween Havoc.” At which end of the ppv quality spectrum will the 2010 version of “Victory Road” prove to be? Find out for yourselves on the night of Sunday, July 11th. In the meantime, let’s take a look at what several of our Bored Wrestling Fans think!
World Heavyweight Championship title match:
Rob Van Dam (ch) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Abyss

RYTMAN: An Abyss win would help push whatever this “They” gimmick is, so it wouldn’t surprise me, HOWEVER TNA seems to have given “constant pointless swerve” mode a rest for the time being. So I’ll go w/RVD retains and The X-tream N-vasion B-gins w/a beatdown of Hardy/Kennedy.

Gee: ???

ThinkSoJoE: For the love of (insert supreme being here), please do NOT let Abyss win this – he’s supposedly going to face Hogan at Bound for Glory. And you know what happens when Hogan randomly gets a title shot. For my sanity, I’m saying RVD to retain.

Drowgoddess: Mr. Anderson will either cost Jeff Hardy the title by accident or full-out turn on him, leaving RVD and Abyss to fight over the title. Abyss really shouldn’t win the title here, but I won’t be surprised if he does. The Hogan/Bischoff golden boy hasn’t been pushed this hard to be ignored now. I fear for us all.

JT: Ennie, meanie, miny, moe, um Anderson wins I think, he isn’t injured yet is he?

Ric Flair vs. Jay Lethal

RYTMAN: The entire point of this angle is to put over Lethal, so I will be optimistic and say TNA keeps up this “logical booking” thing going with a Lethal Victory.

Gee: Because TNA rushes everything, I’m going with Lethal. Flair apparently loves Lethal, so puts him over. I’d rather see this drawn out over a long period of time and be wrong here.

ThinkSoJoE: Lethal has to win. What good does a win do for Flair?

Drowgoddess: I want it on record that I hate the fact that this match is taking place at all. Flair, I’m looking in YOUR direction. That said, Lethal beats Flair and goes on to become the REAL first member of Fortune and does a total heel turn. After all, nobody in Flair’s entourage has been able to beat Lethal. Lethal is a far better “Flair Jr.” than AJ Styles.

JT: Flair has a heart Attack, dies in the ring, yet he still wins the match.

“Top 10 Rankings” match:
Kurt Angle (#9) vs. “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero (#8)

RYTMAN: IS ANYONE NOT GONNA SAY KURT ANGLE?

Gee: Going with the Pope. Even though I love Kurt Angle (and will likely fuck this pick up too), god damn. Dude just returned to the iMPACT Zone, and wouldn’t this be an awesome feud?

ThinkSoJoE: Kurt Angle has a self imposed stipulation that if he loses he’ll retire. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say Angle wins.

Drowgoddess: It’s a total shame to waste a major (and super-over) return like The Pope’s with an immediate ppv loss, but with Angle’s career on the line AND being only at #8 on a list of 10, there’s no way Angle loses here.

JT: The Pope, it’s his first match back.

Steel Cage match
Matt Morgan vs. Hernandez

RYTMAN: Hmmmm…. Hogan supposedly likes both these guys… I’ll just assume TNA likes to screw over the Mexicans and go w/Morgan.

Gee: Hernandez… I guess.

ThinkSoJoE: Hernandez will take this one as ultimate payback for the injury inflicted by Morgan

Drowgoddess: An injured Homicide (who has not been mentioned or shown once on tv after suffering the same injury as Hernandez at the foot of Matt Morgan) helps Hernandez get the win, and LAX reunites.

JT: Wait these guys still have jobs, good for them. Morgan has been killing everybody lately from what I know so why stop here. M-M-M-Matt M-M-M-Morgan W-W-Wins.

Tag Team Championship title match
Beer Money vs. the Motor City Machine Guns

RYTMAN: Beer Money. To help push “Fortune” and to screw over Drow yet again.

Gee: MCMG’s will win if the wrestling gods have anything to say about this. I expect this match to potentially steal the show. I will too. Fuck me, I’m not paying a dime when I can stream it for free!

ThinkSoJoE: I’ll go ahead and say the Guns, so Drow doesn’t lynch me.

Drowgoddess: My comments on this one could fill a set of encyclopedia, so I’ll use the Cliffs Notes version here. After teaming for almost four years, and being consistently one of the most popular acts in the company (despite their horrendous booking), the MCMG have yet to win TNA’s tag team gold. Beer Money has had three tag team title reigns. It’s long past time for the MCMG to be the TNA Tag Team Champions. LONG past time.

JT: Sorry Drow but as the saying goes, “It pays to be Roode!” Beer Money wins (JT immediately ducks to avoid things being thrown at him)

Ultimate X match with submissions victory stipulation
X-Division Championship title match
Douglas Williams (ch) vs. Brian Kendrick

RYTMAN: Doug Williams; it’s too soon for him to loose.

Gee: As much as I love Kendrick, I think Williams defends successfully here.

ThinkSoJoE: I’m failing to see the point of a submission stipulation in a match whose point is to climb up on cables and grab something – in this case the X-Division Championship. I love Spanky to death, but I don’t think we’re ready for Douglas Williams to drop the title.

Drowgoddess: I agree with ThinkSoJoE’s assessment of the submission stipulation. An Ultimate X match is its own thing, and needs no tampering. Douglas Williams retains the title by NOT using a submission and taking down the belt.

JT: Wait the former Superbowl MVP Doug Williams is wrestling now. Wow how the mighty have fallen, Kendrick wins here.

Knockouts Championship title match:
Madison Rayne (ch) vs. Angelina Love

RYTMAN: Angelina Love AND I BARELY CARED ENOUGH TO GUESS THAT MUCH.

Gee: If they want to keep the Beautiful People strong, Rayne has to win. Nonetheless, I’ll go with Angelina Love.

ThinkSoJoE: Angelina Love is absolutely going to take back the Knockouts title in this one.

Drowgoddess: Angelina Love wins the title, and completes her teased heel turn on a newly-babyface Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich. For some reason.

JT: Love wins or retains, how the hell do I know, I don’t watch the program anymore.

Gee’s Final Thoughts: I realize my picks are very cynical. While I totally do understand why in the hell I continue to watch (and “review”) show every week (as does our Drowgoddess), there will likely be some fun entertaining moments at this PPV. There likely will be a lot of suck.

That’s it for our predictions and comments. Check back with us right here at BWF for “Victory Road” results!

Peace out,
Drowgoddess

Just like the WWE, once a year the BWF network goes EXTREME!!!!!!! Welcome everyone to the Extreme Rules Roundtable, I am your host JT and tonight is a Roundtable like no other, wait actually it is, oh well but it’s still cool though. Joining me tonight is BWF’s very own lovely and talented Drogoddess, Gee from out friends at Project Wonderboy, and the author of The RYT Opinion Rytman. So without further ado, lets get this show on the road:

1. Steel Cage Match: Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Gee- Is this the blowoff to the feud? That’s what I’m thinking, since I think Edge is bouncing over to RAW. Thus, Edge wins with his… sigh…. spear.

Rytman- If Swagger keeps the belt, Edge; so he can resume the hunt.

Drowgoddess- Hmmm. Edge has a Mania loss to avenge, and since neither guy is in the title picture right now, the time seems good for a Rated-R Superstar victory. A loss also gives Jericho something else to bitch about, which is always gold.

JT- I’m gonna make this a unanimous and go with Edge here.

2. Strap Match: Shad vs. JTG

Gee- What are the stipulations here? The loser is future endeavored? The least entertaining of the two, Shad, will pick up an non-charismatic win. Shad will be pushed briefly, miserably fail, and then join his former tag partner in the indies shortly thereafter.

Rytman- How did this make the PPV? Too soon for me to care.

Drowgoddess- Don’t care. The guy getting the push who isn’t in trouble wins.

JT- Wow som harsh words from Drow and Ryt. That being said it looks like WWE creative is going somewhere with Shad so I think he get the win here. Though I don’t think either will be released just yet.

3. Street Fight Match: HHH vs. Sheamus

Gee- Sheamus should have won at WrestleMania, but no! The palest Irishman will win and end his feud with HHH. This will allow for him to travel to the land of Smackdown and reboot his character as a top heel. Possibly to challenge Orton for his title?

Rytman- HHH for shtz/giggles. (Waste of time on my part.)

Drowgoddess- Sheamus should win. HHH probably will.

JT- If HHH has is as injured as I’ve heard and is gonna be taking time off, then this would be the opportunity to do it and get Sheamus over, so he can go around and say that “I put HHH out for good!” I’m going with Sheamus.

4. Hair vs. Nothing match: CM Punk (hair) vs. Rey Mysterio

Gee- Punk for the win. This character and Straight Edge Society stable is too strong for the WWE to end now. With all the rumours swirling about Mysterio needing time off again, this would be an easy way to write him off of TV for whatever time he needs.

Rytman- Since the Mask isn’t on the line, let’s give Punk the win here, just to keep the program moving.

Drowgoddess- If Rey has nothing on the line, Punk wins. This feud is far too hot for Punk to lose his hair over nothing. This needs to go at least one, possibly two more ppvs before Punk gets shaved.

JT- Unanimous again here, Punk for the win. After what we saw on RAW this past week makes me believe it more.

5. World Title Match, Extreme Rules: Jack Swagger © vs. Randy Orton

Gee- The real question here is whether Swagger is indeed a transitional champion. I’m betting that he is, and am going with Randy Orton to win. And then we’ll see him switch brands in the draft and possibly continue the feud on Smackdown.

Rytman- I’m gonna say DQ win for Orton. Too soon for Swagger to drop the belt, but I doubt they’ll job out Orton. I’m thinking they’ll use this to set the stage for Orton moving to Smackdown in the draft.
(Side Note: HUGE mistake.)

Drowgoddess- I hope against hope that Swagger retains. If he doesn’t, everything involving him since Mania has been wasted. Orton doesn’t need the win here, and a win for Swagger would be HUUUUUGE!

JT- Unfortunately Rytman, I don’t think there are DQ’s in an Extreme Rules match, but watch WWE will try and prove me wrong. But back to the subject, Swagger has lost almost every match since becoming Wold Champion except two and one of those wins was a pin-fall victory with the title on the line, so sonce the title is on the line, I’m going with Jack Swagger.

6. WWE Title Match, Last Man Standing: John Cena © vs. Batista

Gee- Cena will retain. If Batista wins, I riot… not because I love Cena, but because I tend to hate on Grandpa ‘Tista more so.

Rytman- I’m gonna say Batista wins it. It sets up a “rubber match” for the next PPV; UNLESS Cena gets traded. If he does, then we have the potential for a Batista/Orton program with “FACE” Orton chasing “HEEL” Batista.

Drowgoddess- I don’t care anything about either of these guys, though I know many others are raving about how Batista is the greatest heel in the history of heeldom now. Batista wins.

JT- I’m gonna go outside the box and say that neither man makes the 10 count and their is no Last Man Standing, which means that Cena will retain.

Alright that’s all for now thanks again every for participating int this month’s Roundtable. And as always thank you all for reading and I will be back tomorrow with another Random Randomness.

Welcome all to the first ever Wrestlemania Roundtable. I am your host JT thank you for joining us as we talk about the big one, Wrestlemania 26. Joining me today are fellow BWF writers Drowgoddess, Tharvey1, fellow readers and message board alumnus Rytman and Gee, and last but not least the boss himself ThinkSoJoE. Thank you all for joining me today, now lets get this show on the road:

1. CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio– If Mysterio loses, he joins the Straight Edge Soicety and becomes Punk’s slave

Gee- CM Punk picks up a shocking win here. Originally this was rumoured to be a hair versus mask match… and I still think that will happen in the future. However, to build that storyline, it would be likely that Punk will torment Rey into “coming clean” and revealing his true identity. This could very well culminate and be drawn out all the way to Summerslam if handled correctly.

Rytman- Rey takes it, but this fued is only getting warmed up.

Tharvey1- While I think seeing Rey struggle in the Straight Edge Society would be great television, I honestly just see him getting his retribution in this match. This was another match that was just really thrown together without any real build. It kind of came out of nowhere over the last month and probably deserves to be blown-off fairly quickly. That’s what she said.

Drowgoddess- Punk wins. It’s a street fight, which favors the Straight Edge Society. After Rey is forced to join them, THEN dissention builds into the “mask vs. hair” match that has been all over the interwebs. That’s where Rey will win.

ThinkSoJoE- If Mysterio loses, he has to join the Straight Edge Society. I can’t see that happening, so Mysterio.

JT- Well we all know my thoughts on Mysterio around here, but for some reason I think he’s winning this match. He has been in feuds before where he wins every match in it. WWE loves playing the underdog gimmick with him and with the Straight Edge Society in Punk’s corner, Mysterio will shocking overcome the odds and win.

2. Triple H vs. Sheamus

Gee- I have this bad feeling Triple H will win this, even though Sheamus is his “buddy.” I’d like to be wrong here even though I am not really a fan of the palest bacne infestation known as Sheamus.

Rytman- HHH will job if it’s good for business. Sheamus needs the win. WWE needs Sheamus to win.

Tharvey1- I think being HHH’s friend will help Sheamus in this matchup. Traditionally, HHH has sold really well for his close friends and has put them over more than anybody else. Sheamus wins this one and continues his rise to main event status.

Drowdoddess- HHH wins. Sure, he COULD lose to Sheamus at Mania, but I’m just not seeing it.

ThinkSoJoE- Sheamus will impress, but Triple H will pull out the victory.

JT- If there was a title on the line, I would go with Triple H, but since this is a one on one match, Sheamus wins here.

3. Money In The Bank Ladder Match- Christian vs. M.V.P. vs. Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Matt Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston

Gee- Christian or McIntyre are my two favorites, but have to give the edge to McIntyre here. They have built him up so much as of late, he seems a likely candidate to hold the briefcase as a heel more so than Christian. Although, I would LOVE to see Christian stalk Edge in a storyline after Edge wins the title (or so my pick below would say).

Rytman- McIntyre in some type of elaborate screwjob, as part of his “I’m Vince’s favorite” gimmick. (Or Kofi if he gets in, as a restart on his push.)

Tharvey1- Christian should win. I have my doubts considering Drew McIntyre, with the McMahon endorsement, is in the match. However, I do think Christian should and will win. This will no doubt be a great spot fest… as usual.

Drowgoddess- Kane wins. In a perfect world, Christian would win, and cash in his title shot against Edge, who would defeat Chris Jericho and win the title. However, that probably won’t happen. Since a future Heavyweight Championship title shot is at stake, the only ones with a believable shot at winning said title are Kane, MVP, and McIntyre. Of those three, McIntyre already has the Intercontinental title, and it’s too soon for a shot at the biggest title. MVP hasn’t had a main event push. That leaves Kane.

ThinkSoJoE- Drew McIntyre has got to be the favorite. If not him, it’s either Christian or Kofi, but my money will be on the Intercontinental Champion.

JT- Look I said that this year’s Money In The Bank winner will be the first to cash in and lose and am sticking with so my pick is someone who can believably do it. I thought I was on the outside with with pick but now am in agreement with Drowgoddess in saying that Kane win.

4. Unified Tag Team Championship Match: ShowMiz (c) vs. R-Truth & John Morrison

Gee- ShowMiz should win here, and that’s my pick. I can’t see why Morrison and Truth would win as it seems just like a way to get them on the big show (ha ha!).

Rytman- Showmiz, why not?

Tharvey1- ShowMiz will win. The only reason Truth and Morrison are tagging are because they really don’t have anything else going on at the moment. They should have been in MITB, but WWE creative went this direction instead.

Drowgoddess- ShowMiz retain. As popular as Morrison and R-Truth are as singles competitors, it just isn’t right that a recently thrown-together tag team wins the titles at a Mania match. I love good tag team wrestling, and this just isn’t the same thing.

ThinkSoJoE- If there is any intelligence in the WWE booking team, ShoMiz will retain the titles one way or another.

JT- I’m gonna go on the outside here and pick Morrison and R-Truth with help from Daniel Bryan. If Big Show is as injured as I’ve heard, the he’ll be the first to get his surgery after Wrestlemania, while The Miz can go on and feud with Daniel Bryan.

5. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs Cody Rhodes

Gee- Dibiase wins via pin. Orton doesn’t need the win, and Rhodes is clearly not ready (nor good enough yet), but Dibiase could benefit big time here. And it would completely add an end to the Legacy faction whose slow death has been built up to logically end here.

Rytman- Cody swerves Ted and helps Randy win, BECAUSE I BARELY CARE AS IT IS!

Tharvey1- Is it me or is this one of the most apprehensive face turns ever? Just 2 months ago, Randy Orton was the top heel in the company and now he can’t get the fans to stop cheering him. I don’t think that was intended, but it has worked out. Having Orton as the face in this matchup really helps to build heat on DiBiase and Rhodes. Any of these guys winning would be ok with me, but I think DiBiase needs it more. Cody can handle himself and get a reaction on his own without winning, but DiBiase seems to really need a push here. I think DiBiase gets the win and then goes on to feud with Orton by himself.

Drowgoddess- DiBiase wins. Normally, I’d say Orton wins, but this could be the breakout victory and subsequent push that we all seem to feel DiBiase needs.

ThinkSoJoE- DiBiase’s momentum has completely stalled as of late. I say they build it up by having him pin Orton for the win.

JT- I’m gonna go with Cody Rhodes putting the other two to sleep while cutting a promo. Then when Rhodes thinks they’re both out, he continues the promo and unbeknownst to him DiBiase was just faking and he pins Orton for the win. Seriously, I’m picking DiBiase in this one.

6. No Holds Barred- Vince McMahon vs. Bret Hart

Gee- Bret Hart wins via Sharpshooter on McMahon – This is what the fans will pay to see, and Vince will give it to them… it closes the chapter in the long history of the screwjob once and for all on the grandest stage of them all.

Rytman- Bret, or this all becomes a waste of time.

Tharvey1- One of two things will happen here; either Bret gets a great send off with a win, or Vince “screws” Bret again. I really don’t think this will be a very long match and probably won’t have many dangerous spots in it. From everything I have heard and read, Bret can’t take any shots to the head without risking another stroke. My pick here is for Bret to get his win though.

Drowgoddess- Bret wins. If Bret doesn’t win, none of this has had any point at all. It’s about fifteen years of payback.

ThinkSoJoE- To quote Aerosmith, “Pink, it’s my new obsession. Pink, it’s not even a question.” The Hitman takes this one.

JT- Nice quote JoE. But yeah when Vince wrestles at Wrestlemania, he doesn’t win so I’m making this unanimous and am picking Bret here.

7. Divas match- the babyface ones vs. the heel ones

Gee- The winner is my bladder which is happily relieved of the plethora of beer and spirits stored there within. If its a battle royal, I’ll go with Beth Phoenix.

Rytman-I’m the only one who cares right? Smackdown Divas, because I love Layla L.

Tharvey1- No comment.

Drowgoddess- Does anyone really care? If it doesn’t involve Beth Phoenix or Natalya, I’ll be taking a potty break here.

ThinkSoJoE- Who cares?

JT- WOW what insight, but yeah who cares except the divas themselves. Potty break for me too.

8. The Carrer vs. The Streak: Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker

Gee- Undertaker wins via pin after multiple tombstones, etc. I cannot see Taker losing his streak, although I can’t see HBK retiring this way either. The reality is that it would be easier to just write HBK back into the storyline after a long rest.

Rytman- You know, I’m gonna go w/Shawn. Because so many people expect this to be Shawn’s farewell, I’m thiking this would be a great swerve.

Tharvey1- I don’t think there is any possible way that WWE can justify ending Taker’s streak. For something that has taken so long to build up, they should not ruin it. Shawn doesn’t need the win here. We all know he is taking time off anyways, so this is a good way to do it. He will be back eventually, but this can explain his hiatus.

Drowgoddess- Taker wins. Please, dear Jeebus, let Taker win! HBK has no reason whatever to be the guy who ends the legendary Streak. No one benefits from it. Just let it alone.

ThinkSoJoE- I’d hate to say it. I’d really really hate to say it. WrestleMania is never going to be the same after this Sunday. Either the streak is over, or the man who steals the show every year will be gone. I’d say the streak stays in tact.

JT- It’s gonna take everything he’s got and we will see multiple chokeslams, Last Rides, Hell’s Gate’s and probably 3 or 4 Tombstone’s, but Undertaker will prevail this year.

9. World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Edge

Gee- Edge wins via pin after multiple spears. This seems like the logical outcome with the return of Edge as a face. It might also set him up to slowly turn tweener or heel over a long title reign.

Rytman- Edge. The WWE wants a big “comeback” story w/happy ending.

Tharvey1- Jericho will win and Edge will continue to chase him. Alot like the WWE Title match, it doesn’t make much sense to put a title on a guy only to have him lose it a month later. Also, a blow-off here would be wrong.

Drowgoddess- Jericho wins. I want Edge to win. The problem is, it’s too soon. Jericho will get the win here, but the feud will continue and Edge will take the title from him eventually. Let’s face it, considering the outcome of the other match, it’s almost a given that Edge can’t win at Mania.

ThinkSoJoE- Spear. Spear. Spear. Spear. Spear. Edge takes this one.

JT- One of the two titles will change hands, but not both. I’m picking Jericho to retain here and Edge to win at a later date.

10. WWE Title Match: Batista (c) vs John Cena

Gee- Cena wins via pin. I am pretty on the fence about this match up. Batista is certainly excelling in his latest heel persona…

Rytman- Cena’s won over a lot of Haters, now’s the time for him to get the belt.

Tharvey1- I have been wavering back and forth on this one, but I will take Batista to win. With the title being put on him so recently, I don’t think it would make much sense to have him drop it. With the win, Batista can play up the “John Cena can’t beat me” angle a little while more and continue to build more heat.

Drowgoddess- Cena wins. I just don’t see Cena having a Mania title match and not winning it. Batista has brought up the injury history and the “You can’t beat me” part, which means Super Cena shall overcome. If Cena wins here, Jericho has to retain in his match, just because I don’t see two babyfaces winning titles and effectively ending two different feuds at the same time.

ThinkSoJoE- Depends. If this is the last match, Cena. If it’s anywhere else on the card, hopefully Batista will pick up the victory and some credibility.

JT- I’m gonna go with Cena here because of the whole “Cena can’t beat Batista” angle and since he’s the top guy in the company, then why not.

Alright there you have it folks out Wrestlemania Roundtable thanks again for eveyone who participated and tune in tommorow night to find out who’s right and who’s wrong. And as always thank you to everyone for reading.

Welcome everybody to the critically acclaimed BWF Roundtable. I am your host as tonight we talk about the 2010 Royal Rumble. Joining me tonight are BWF authors Tharvey1 and ThinkSoJoE, as well as message board and Roundtable regular RYMAN to give everyone their picks for the Royal Rumble. Well without further ado, lets get this show on the road:

1. WWE Championship Match- Sheamus (c) vs. Randy Orton:

RYTMAN- Randy Orton wins the WWE title.

ThinkSoJoE- Orton. I’m picking Orton for the sheer fact of who I’m picking for the Rumble win…

Tharvey1- Shaemus gets the win over Orton. While they are not giving Shaemus enough exposure on RAW, they will keep the strap on him here and set up the inevitable HHH/Shaemus title match at Mania.

JT- I’m gonna go with Sheamus here. There is no point in having a title change in a heel vs. a heel title match.

2. ECW Championship Match- Christian (c) vs Ezekiel Jackson:

RYTMAN- (said he’d get back to me but didn’t)

ThinkSoJoE- Jackson pinned Christian on SmackDown – that means Christian will probably win this Sunday.

Tharvey1- Ezekiel Jackson over Christian here. I think it’s time that Captain Charisma drop the ECW belt and move on. He has done all he can for ECW and Big Zeke is believable as the Champ.

JT- Tharvey1 took the words right out of my mouth, it’s time for Christian to drop the title. I’m going with Ezekiel Jackson to win here.

3. Women’s Championship Match- Michelle McCool (c) vs. Mickie James:

RYTMAN- Mickey James beats Michelle McCool for the Women’s title in some kind of “cover your opponent in slop mach.” Also, Maryse beats Gail for the Divas title (which will suck. )

ThinkSoJoE- After the whole “Piggy James” thing, Mickie better win – otherwise the whole thing comes off as pointless.

Tharvey1- Mickie James defeats Michelle McCool. I think its set up for Mickie to win the title here. She has endured Lay-Cool’s harassment and will punish them at the Rumble. I think we might see Beth Phoenix interfere on behalf of Mickie James.

JT- And I will make this one unanimous and pick Mickie James here.

4. World Heavyweight Championship Match- Undertaker (c) vs. Rey Mysterio:

RYTMAN- Mysterio beats Taker for the title (w/interference from Batista AND HBK.)

ThinkSoJoE- Is there any doubt about it? The Undertaker is going to win.

Tharvey1- Undertaker…nuff said

JT- Undertaker with help from HBK.

5. The 30 man over the top rope Royal Rumble Match-

RYTMAN- Jericho wins the Rumble.

ThinkSoJoE- There has been an awful lot of emphasis put on how many top stars there are in this year’s Royal Rumble. Triple H. John Cena. Shawn Michaels. Batista. Chris Jericho. CM Punk. The Big Show. Kane. The Great Khali. These are all names that have been announced for the Royal Rumble who have won either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship. This is why my pick to win this year’s Royal Rumble is… Ted DiBiase. Legacy are on the verge of breaking up. DiBiase and Rhodes were in the final four last year, only being eliminated as they sacrificed themselves for Randy Orton. With Orton not being in the Rumble this year, what’s to stop Legacy from dominating the Rumble again, and having it come down to just the two of them?

Tharvey1- Shawn Michaels to set up Taker/HBK II at Wrestlemania. Chris Masters would be a pleasant surprise, but I don’t expect that to happen.

JT- I want Kofi Kingston to win, but I know that’s not gonna happen so lets see here. Anybody notice that when Cena beat Sheamus by DQ in his rematch, he hasn’t tried to get another? Yeah, I know that he lost in the triple threat, but you’d think that by now he would’ve tried to get another 1 on 1 title match, so my pick sadly is going to John Cena. It makes more sense to have Cena face Sheamus at Wrestlemania that HHH face Sheamus. Just my opinion.

Wow som very interesting picks for this years Royal Rumble. Who will be right? Who will be wrong? We will all find out tomorrow. Thanks again for joining us for thins edition of the BWF Roundtable and goodnight everyone.

Hey folks, I’m ThinkSoJoE, and I’ll be your host for our TNA Final Resolution 2009 roundtable. Ready? Let’s go!

TNA World Heavyweight Championship match: AJ Styles (C) vs. Daniels

Drowgoddess: AJ retains after the possible match of the night, and some skullduggery on the part of Daniels. AJ/Daniels can continue to build for a while, and Daniels shouldn’t get the win and title just yet. Additionally, AJ is the ideal face of the company, and during this time of major upheaval, taking the belt off of him would be an incredibly foolish move.

chjpacheco: Daniels wins via DQ

JT: AJ Styles over Daniels

ThinkSoJoE: We’re treading water until Hogan shows up, look for Styles and Daniels to steal the show but for Styles to retain.

Three Degrees of Pain: Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe

Drowgoddess: Desmond Wolfe wins in the third match after considerable treachery. The matches between these two have been fantastic, and the feud should not end yet. Angle pulled out a last-second win at the last ppv, and Wolfe needs one here to keep the momentum and the feud going. A loss here will not hurt Angle at all.

chjpacheco: Wolfe wins only reason i say that is because of Kurt’s neck

JT: Wolfe over Angle

ThinkSoJoE: I think Wolfe will take this one. I’d actually like to see more of Wolfe vs. Daniels, but I’ll take a continuation of Wolfe/Angle any day.

Last Man Standing Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Scott Steiner

Drowgoddess: I really don’t care about this match at all. I’d like to see Steiner win because Lashley is a complete waste of space. However, until TNA decides what to do about Lashley’s MMA career, they’ll likely try to keep him as strong as possible. Steiner holds the only victory over Lashley in TNA right now, so Lashley will probably win here. Kristal will help.

chjpacheco: Steiner because if Bobby as his wife at ring side she will be a distraction

JT: Bobby Lashley over Scott Steiner

ThinkSoJoE: Lashley is likely going to pick up the win here. I’d love to see Steiner win, but I just can’t see it happening for some reason.

TNA World Tag Team Championship: The British Invasion (C) vs. Motor City Machine Guns

Drowgoddess: Oh. Sweet. Mother. Of. God. This match has gotten zero attention, zero hype, and precisely one promo pointing out the lack of attention given the match. The promo war between Alex Shelley and Brutus Magnus could have been GOLD! That’s as may be. Give the MCMG the tag team title run that they have so richly deserved for the past two and a half years, already!

chjpacheco: MCM i hate the british invasion they need NOT to have the belts

JT: Machineguns w win the titles

ThinkSoJoE: You guys are kidding yourselves. The British Invasion are not losing those titles tonight, not in a completely underhyped match with zero real buildup against a team that, despite quite possibly being the best tag team in the world, hasn’t been pushed like one.

TNA Knockouts Championship: ODB (C) vs. Tara

Drowgoddess: Tara wins. ODB’s heel turn and recent losses on “iMPACT” have weakened her enough that she would be better as the resentful ex-champ chasing her title.

chjpacheco: Tara its her time to shine

JT: No title change here

ThinkSoJoE: I’ve got to go with Tara. ODB is definitely in line for a heel turn, and the tactics she’s been using definitely lend themselves toward a title chase. Tara will overcome ODB and walk out as Knockouts Champion.

Mick Foley & Abyss vs. Raven & Dr. Stevie

Drowgoddess: Raven and Dr. Stevie win. Foley will not be focused on this match, and won’t really care what happens. Abyss takes the fall here.

chjpacheco: Raven and Dr. Stevie i have a feeling that an old friend from ecw is going to show up

JT: Raven and Dr. Stevie win

ThinkSoJoE: Raven and Dr. Stevie are really the first victims of Hogan coming in, aren’t they? They haven’t gotten a lot of TV time over the past couple of weeks because one of their opponents is too busy worrying about Hogan. That’s also going to be Foley’s downfall, as he’ll be too concerned about Hogan to worry about actually winning this match.

Team 3D, Rhino, and Jesse Neal vs. D’Angelo Dinero, Matt Morgan, Suicide, and Hernandez

Drowgoddess: Hernandez lasts the first five minutes against the entire heel team, but will be eliminated after his team enters. The babyface team will get down to either Matt Morgan or “The Pope.” The heel team will outnumber the last babyface. Either Morgan or “The Pope” gets the win for his team.

chjpacheco: Team 3D, Rhino, Jesse Neal..just cuz they’re better

JT: Morgan and Suicide surivive!

ThinkSoJoE: There’s something strange going on, and I can’t quite figure out what it is. It’s got to do with Suicide. I’m picking Team 3D, Rhino, and Jesse Neal, simply because I have a feeling in my gut that something will happen with Suicide.

Feast Or Fired: Samoa Joe, Beer Money Inc., Kevin Nash, Eric Young, and Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Kiyoshi, Homicide, Jay Lethal, Consequences Creed, and Cody Deaner

Drowgoddess: Samoa Joe gets the X-Division title shot, and is furious. He will go on a rampage over this.
Kiyoshi gets the Tag Team title shot for himself and Bashir against the new champs, the MCMG.
I thought that Rob Terry was in this match, and I was calling him to get the World Heavyweight title shot, but since that doesn’t seem to be true, Robert Roode gets it.
Either Cody Deaner or Eric Young will get fired, but Young will be reinstated by Kevin Nash.

chjpacheco: Cody Deaner gets fired just because he isn’t being used and he sucks feast will be Kevin Nash because he has the money

JT: Eric Young gets fired, James storm gets the title shot, Roode gets the X-division shot and cody deaner gets the tag shot.

ThinkSoJoE: Deaner’s getting fired, I think that’s pretty obvious. Storm is going to grab the Tag Team Championship shot, Homicide the X division title shot, and finally, Samoa Joe the World Championship shot. No reason for the picks, just really not sure.

Welcome to another edition of the BWF Roundtable. I am JT, your host for the evening as we look at the TLC pay per view. Joining me tonight are BWF writers Drowgoddess & Tharvey1 along with fellow BWF follower RYTMAN. Well without further ado lets get this show on the road:

1. Tables Match for the WWE title, Shaemus vs John Cena:

Tharvey1- I think Shaemus wins this one. There has to be a reason why they are pushing someone this new this early.

Drowgoddess- Sheamus to win. No, seriously. At least for a minute or two. A tables match is the only way that Super Cena can reasonably be beaten by the guy. Additionally, Cena’s comment about immediately exercising his rematch clause if Sheamus wins can’t be for nothing. I honestly think it might happen purely for the shock value, even if it comes to nothing in the long run.

RYTMAN- John Cena over Shaemus UNLESS Orton interferes. It’s just too soon for Shaemus and he can afford to lose to Cena.

JT- This is the perfect match for these two. If Shaemus loses, he can still walk around with the “I have never been pinned” gimmick foe awhile. The same for Cena until he gets his rematch. For my pick I going along with the majority here and gonna pick Shaemus for this one.

2. Ladder Match for the ECW title, Christian vs Shelton Benjamin:

Tharvey1- Shelton gets his chance to carry the brand title. I see Christian moving to Smackdown in a free agent acquisition.

Drowgoddess- If it’s true that ECW and its championship is going away forever, this could be a great way to send them off. I would say Christian retains, except that this is the last chance to put somebody over with an ECW title win, and Christian HAS held the belt for a while now. I’m going to go with Shelton Benjamin to win this.

RYTMAN- Let’s say Shelton Bejamin over Christian for the ECW title, just for shits and giggles.

JT- If ECW is going away at the end of this month like has been rumored, then I don’t see the point of a title change here, Christian has had it long enough, him having it a couple more weeks wouldn’t kill. But if ECW isn’t going away than a title change is needed. I’m gonna make this unanimous and pick Shelton Benjamin.

3. Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Title, Batista vs. The Undertaker:

Tharvey1- I think Batista wins here. They have to give it to him before he gets hurt again.

Drowgoddess- Undertaker retains.

RYTMAN- Maybe Batista over Taker, so Taker can get time off to heal.

JT- I’m gonna go with Undertaker here, just too soon for Batista to take the title.

4. Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston:

Tharvey1- Orton wins this one. I don’t think Kofi will be allowed to rise any further than this.

Drowgoddess- Kofi wins. The “rubber match” is the one that he needs to win to cement his position anyway.

RYTMAN- Sadly, I’m going with Orton over Kofi. Hell if I know why. (Side Note: If Orton wins, look for Shaemus to beat Cena.)

JT- Kofi wins and moves up to the main event picture.

5. Intercontinental Championship, John Morrison vs. Drew McIntyre:

Tharvey1- McIntyre shoots to the top of Smackdown really quickly and wins the IC title here. Do you think Vince wants to look stupid for endorsing this kid on TV?!

Drowgoddess- Drew McIntyre wins. Aside from his undefeated streak, a feud between these two over the IC belt will be money with Morrison chasing McIntyre, trying to get his belt back. Yes, I know that the IC title has traditionally been on the #2 guy in the company, but sometimes you need to shake things up a bit.

RYTMAN- I think Morrison might take it over McIntyre to set up a ruber-match at Royal Rumble.

JT- McIntyre wins by either count-out or DQ.

6. Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool:

Sorry this match wasn’t announced until this weeks Smackdown (which I watched this morning) so I didn’t know about it and RYTMAN & Tharvey1 had already sent me their picks no predictions from them.

Drowgoddess- Mickie James wins, and celebrates by putting McCool through a wood chipper. Hey, I can dream!

JT- What Drow said.

7. TLC Match for the Unified Tag Team Titles: DX vs. Jeri-Show:

Tharvey1- Jerishow will win. HHH and HBK won’t want to appear on Smackdown on a weekly basis.

Drowgoddess- I hope to every form of divinity ever devised by the minds of men that JeriShow retains. Part of this is because if Edge returns, I want to see him go after Jericho and tag with Christian one last time to take the titles from JeriShow. Unfortunately, between the show being in San Antonio and JeriShow getting the last word in on DX on RAW, I’m pretty sure DX is winning here. Boo.

RYTMAN- Now this is interesting. Shawn doesn’t want to go to SD, I think Hunter wants to stay on RAW, but I doubt they’re willing to job out. I’m calling some kind of swerve ending where DX winds up w/the RAW titles and Jeri-Show winds up with the SD titles.

JT- The only way I see DX winning this is that the next night on RAW, Jericho calls out Big Show for being injured and demands his rematch. He them picks a young guy (say Jack Swagger, McIntyre, or Ziggler) and they defeat DX for the belts. Other than that Jeri-Show should win this one.

Well, we got some great predictions here. That’s all we have time for this week, I’d like to thank Drowgoddess, RYTMAN and Tharvey1 for joining me in this discussion. Thanks again for reading and tune in next pay per view time for another edition of the BWF Roundtable.

World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Chris Jericho (Triple Threat Match):

JT: Jericho over Undertaker & Big Show

Drowgoddess: Undertaker wins. Either Jericho or Show will cost the other the win, and they’ll continue to fall apart as a tag team. Taker’s not losing anything at this point.

ThinkSoJoE: I think we all know who’s prying that belt from the cold, dead hands of The Undertaker – and it’s not Chris Jericho or The Big Show. Somebody had a feud over the World Heavyweight Championship with The Undertaker that never had a proper finish, and he just turned heel. Expect ‘Taker to walk out with the gold in tact.

Rey Mysterio vs. Batista

JT: Batista eats Mysterio then gets injured

Drowgoddess: Batista wins. ‘Nuff said.

ThinkSoJoE: I don’t think it’s so much a question of who is going to win, but more of if this match is going to live up to the buildup. Batista made Rey sign a hold-harmless agreement – Since I’m pretty confident The Animal is taking this one, he’d better leave Mysterio half dead in the center of the ring.

Team Kingston (Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry, R-Truth, & Christian) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr. , CM Punk, & William Regal) :Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match:

JT: Team Orton over Team Kingston

Drowgoddess: This is a tough call. I really don’t care about the teams as a whole, but I’m a tremendous fan of both Kofi Kingston and CM Punk. I’m essentially chosing between them. I’ll go with Team Kofi to win, as Punk has not been the same since his World title loss to Undertaker. Neither he nor the team of which he is a part will win here.

ThinkSoJoE: Randy Orton’s got a reputation to uphold. He’s been the sole survivor a few times at the Survivor Series, so I’m kind of leaning towards that happening here. Orton will stand alone and still manage to win.

Team Morrison (John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, & Finlay) vs. Team Miz (The Miz, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, & Jack Swagger) : Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match

JT: Team Morrison over Team Miz

Drowgoddess: Why is this ppv sounding so much like the “Twilight” movies? Team Edward, Team Jacob, Team This, Team That. At least these guys don’t sparkle in sunlight. With the possible exception of Sheamus. Like anyone’s going to tell him! In any case, despite the level of fandom I have for both Morrison and Bourne, I’m going with Team Miz to win here. Sheamus and McIntyre are absolute BEASTS, Swagger and Ziggler can play the technical game, and The Miz is simply awesome.

ThinkSoJoE: Miz beat Morrison at Bragging Rights – Morrison should get his revenge here. The way I see it, Morrison can pin The Miz here, and then maybe they run into – and eliminate – each other at the Royal Rumble setting up a WrestleMania match. For what it’s worth, I also see Team Miz imploding and costing themselves the match.

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels (Triple Threat Match)

JT: Cena over D-X, yeah I said it.

Drowgoddess: *YAWN* I so don’t care. Honestly, I’m not being smarky, I sincerely don’t care the slightest little bit about this match or who wins it. Considering what I predicted in the World title 3-way above, HBK steals a win from underneath HHH, and the DX split takes front and center.

ThinkSoJoE: I’m going to get heat for this, I know it – but Shawn Michaels is the best professional wrestler in the world today. It’s been years since HBK had a title run, and I’d love to see it happen here, but since this match was just randomly thrown together by two guys who turn left for a living and a leprechaun, I’m fully expecting Cena to win.

Team Mickie (Mickie James, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Melina, & Gail Kim) vs. Team Michelle (Michelle McCool, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox, & Layla) :Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match

JT: F@^& the Divas Match

Drowgoddess: Another yawner for me, since I have no interest in nailing any of these women. I love Beth Phoenix, and she’s so much better than this, but I’m choosing Team Mickie. Mickie, Gail Kim, and, to a lesser extent, Melina, can actually wrestle. Plus, I live for the day that Michelle McCool gets hit by an 18-wheeler hauling toxic waste. Don’t mistake that for heel heat. She’s not that good. It’s “get off my tv and out of my world” heat.

ThinkSoJoE: So wait, let me see if I’ve got this right. Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, Alicia Fox, and Layla all got into this match, but Natalya, one of the few women on the roster who can actually wrestle, didn’t? Who books this crap? My prediction is half the audience gets up and goes to use the restroom during this one.

Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles (ch) vs. Daniels

ThinkSoJoE: Joe will win when Style’s assailant reveals himself and distracts the Champion.

JT: Styles wins. The only reasone he’ll lost the title is if his opponent is a steroid abuser, a stalker or a guy with facepaint with identity issues.

Drowgoddess: Samoa Joe wins due to some form of distraction and the AJ/Daniels feud begins again.

The Green Teabagger: Joe wins. Hulk Hogan runs to the ring to see if AJ is okay. Joe challenges Hogan to a title match on the spot. AJ tells Hogan to accept. Hogan jumps in and wins the TNA Title in 14 seconds. Oh, wait. That’s Wrestlemania 9….which means there’s a 60% chance it happens. Meh, I’ll be more optimistic. AJ Styles retains the title pinning Samoa Joe in the end.

Legend Killer: AJ Styles

CHALLENGE MATCH
Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe

ThinkSoJoE: Wolfe has something to prove. I can see him winning this.

JT: Seriously, you think Wolfe has a chance in this one. Angle wins.

Drowgoddess: Desmond Wolfe absolutely HAS to win here. Otherwise, all of his actions thus far have been for nothing.

The Green Teabagger: Duh. Kurt Angle wins, and probably somewhat squashlike in six minutes. Kurt Angle will consider this putting Wolfe over.

Legend Killer: Desmond Wolfe

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Motor City Machine Guns vs. British Invasion (ch) vs. Beer Money

ThinkSoJoE: All three of these teams have been underutilized in the last couple of weeks. I’m going with a British Invasion win here.

JT: MCMG wins this one for the sheer fact that they’ve been ignored in this entire feud.

Drowgoddess: Yes, Beer Money is awesome, and are probably going to win. That being said, I will, of course, be pulling for an MCMG victory here. As much as I like Beer Money, I really am angry about their inclusion in this match. Why? Why do they have to be in it right now? They could have gotten a shot at the winners of the match on the next ppv. The Guns finally, FINALLY get a tag team title shot on a pay-per-view, and in a proper tag match, no less. At the last possible second, the other popular face tag team on the roster gets added in. The Guns earned their title shot, and then got completely left out of the picture while the British Invasion and Beer Money sniped at each other. My only hope is that Beer Money and the British Invasion will be so focused on each other that the Guns can steal a win and finally wear the gold that they deserved two years ago.

The Green Teabagger: Beer Money was put into this match for two reasons. One, they’re the best freaking tag team in all of TNA. Two, TNA did next to nothing to push the MCMG-British Invasion feud/rivalry/match so Beer Money had to be added. Doesn’t matter though. Beer Money gets their belts back and the world can rejoice (Sorry, Drow)

Legend Killer: Beer Money

REVENGE MATCH
Bobby Lashley vs. Scott Steiner

ThinkSoJoE: I’m going to give the same prediction I give every month. TNA is not ready to have Lashley job to anybody.

JT: Lashley, need I say more.

Drowgoddess: Lashley wins. He has to stay undefeated, after all. This match will be awful.

The Green Teabagger: Is Bobby Lashely wrestling? Yes. Is his opponent named Hogan, Angle, or Sting? No. Lashley wins

Legend Killer: “The Boss” Bruce Springsteen

X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Homicide vs. Amazing Red

ThinkSoJoE: Red’s going to take this one, as rumors swirl that Homicide asked for his release after Dixie Carter’s speech.

JT: Amazing Red sucks, but Homicide is in a stable with Eric Young who sucks even more. However I’ll go with Homicide here.

Drowgoddess: As much as I would love to see Homicide win, I don’t see it happening. TNA seems to be ridiculously high on Lackluster Red (Thanks, Boss!), and he doesn’t seem to be losing the title any time soon.

The Green Teabagger: If Homicide loses, its a crime. Amazing Red shouldn’t be X-Division champion by any means. Homicide wins.

Legend Killer: The Amazing Red

6 SIDES OF STEEL CAGE MATCH
Awesome Kong vs. Tara

ThinkSoJoE: KONG!

JT: A women’s match in a steel cage, really? Wow. I’ll go with Kong here.

Drowgoddess: Kong wins. She really needs to be the unstoppable monster here, and a hard-fought near-victory by Tara would not make Tara look bad at all.

The Green Teabagger: Tara survives against Kong and this match will be worth the cost.

Legend Killer: Awesome Kong

KNOCKOUTS TAG MATCH: ALL TITLES ON THE LINE
The Beautiful People vs. Sarita, Taylor Wilde, & ODB

ThinkSoJoE: It depends. Who gets what belt if TBP win? If Lacey or Madison Rayne are getting the Knockout’s Championship with a win, the champions will retain. If it’s Sky, there’s a possibility that TBP will take home all of the gold.

JT: Who gets what if the Beautiful Beople win? The champs retain.

Drowgoddess: The three champions retain. This match makes no sense, and has no reason for happening. I have a bad feeling that the whole point of it is for The Beautiful People to win all the gold, bicker amongst themselves, and fall apart as a faction. If Lacy Von Erich leaves this match with any form of title belt, I will shout “Turnip!” in a very loud voice. Then stab a hobo in the face.

The Green Teabagger: I don’t understand how this works. Both ODB’s Knockouts Title and Sarita/Wilde’s Knockout Tag Team Titles are on the line in this match. Who gets what belt in The Beautiful People if they win? They’ve done nothing to explain this so I’d expect and predict ODB and Taylor/Sarita to retain. Then, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if The Beautiful People won, put the tag belts on Velvet/Rayne and put the Knockout Title on Lacey Von Erich despite the fact that LVE is so untalented and skanky that she makes Kelly Kelly look like Trish fu*king Stratus. Yeah, I said it.

Legend Killer: Sarita, Taylor Wilde, and ODB

SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Team 3D & Rhino vs. Matt Morgan, Hernandez, and D’Angelo Dinero

ThinkSoJoE: The young guys will probably take this one.

JT: Oh, decisions, decisions. My facebook profile pic says go with 3D, but I want to go with Morgan, Hernandez and Burke. I’ll go with the faces here whomever they may be.

Drowgoddess: I really want to see Morgan, Hernandez, and Dinero win here. If you aren’t completely digging Dinero, then you have no soul. A victory for the “young guys” here lets the veterans complain about how they got screwed and so on, and works better in the long-term.

The Green Teabagger: Team 3-D turn on Rhino and its an epic 5-on-1 beatdown. Something about this situation is just weird.

Legend Killer: Team 3D and Rhino

What’s up, fellow Bored Wrestling Fans! This Monday night, yours truly will be at the HSBC Arena for RAW! Will I be watching the show that proves to be the dominant brand in sports entertainment, or will I be on the loser show? Also, will John Cena be on RAW this Monday? These questions will be answered tomorrow night at WWE Bragging Rights. Here’s what the BWF staff had to say about each match.

WWE Championship Iron Man Match: John Cena vs. Randy Orton (c)

JT: As much as Cen need a change of scenery and him going to Smackdown would be a goog thing, I just don’t see it happening just yet. Cena wins.

Drowgoddess: Cena wins. I would like to be pleasantly surprised with this, as I’m a huge fan of the “60-Minute Iron Man” match, but I just don’t know if these two can go that long without a lot of stalling and padding.

RYTMAN: Orton beats Cena (w/screwjob finish.) Cena to Smackdown.

The Green Teabagger: Cena wins the WWE Title back (yeah, I know).

ThinkSoJoE: I think moving to SmackDown would be beneficial for Cena at this point in his career, though as much as I’d love to attend a Cena-free RAW on Monday, my head tells me it’s not happening. Cena is arguably the biggest star in the company, and will most likely stay on the flagship show. Cena wins.

World Heavyweight Championship Fatal Four Way: CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Batista vs. The Undertaker (c)

JT: Ugh, this shoud Punk’s one on one match, not a fatal four way. Having said that, I’m going with Punk with the surprise win here, forwarding the upcoming Batista heel turn.

Drowgoddess: A Punk win would please me greatly. The odds are so stacked against him that a sneaky, stolen win would be a surprise. That said, I think they’ll have Taker retain.

RYTMAN: Undertaker retains, Batista gets pissed.

The Green Teabagger: Punk wins his belt back.

ThinkSoJoE: Mysterio will somehow cost Batista the win here, but I can’t see Mysterio winning the title either. I think it’s too soon for him to lose it, so I’d say Taker retains.

SmackDown vs. RAW: The Miz vs. John Morrison

JT: A loss by Morrison here won’t hurt him but willdo wonders for The Miz. The Miz Wins

Drowgoddess: The real winner here is the audience. I honestly don’t know that I care who wins this match, I’d be happy with either one. For the sake of a good story, I’ll pick the Miz.

RYTMAN: Morrison beats Miz.

The Green Teabagger: Shawn Michaels beats Marty Jannetty John Morrison beats The Miz

ThinkSoJoE: Because of the chemistry these two have, both as partners and opponents, and because there was no real feud between the two following The Miz dropping Morrison on RAW when he got drafted, The Miz is going to win this one. Morrison will eventually get his rematch – and his revenge. I’m calling it – Miz vs. Morrison at WM26.

14 Man SmackDown vs. RAW tag team match – Chris Jericho, Kane, Matt Hardy, Finlay, R-Truth, and The Hart Dynasty vs. DX, The Big Show, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, and Mark Henry.

JT: With the changes being made to this match at the last minute leads me more to believe that Team RAW wins here, at least with the original team there was potential for an upset.

Drowgoddess: Despite the changes to the “Smackdown” team, I’m pretty sure that the RAW team is winning here.

RYTMAN: Team Raw buries team Smackdown.

The Green Teabagger: D-X beats Smackdown when Big Show “betrays” Raw and D-X overcomes it. The other five members of the Raw team will be beaten up either way, and no one will remember that they won too.

ThinkSoJoE: Given that all of Team SmackDown, other than captains Jericho and Kane of course, actually lost their qualifying matches to get into this match, and that DX is captaining the other team, yeah, it’s unanimous – all of BWF are picking Team RAW.

6 Diva SmackDown vs. RAW tag team match – Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, & Natalya vs. Melina, Gail Kim, & Kelly Kelly

JT: Since the 14 man match will be the decider matchup and I picked the Miz, I’ll go with the Smackdown Divas here.

Drowgoddess: I can’t stand McCool, but I love Beth Phoenix and Natalya, and want to see them win. That said, I’m thinking Melina, Gail, and Kelly get the actual victory when Beth breaks McCool in half.

RYTMAN: I think Divas match is McCool vs. Melina. I’ll say Melina. (Note: RYTMAN got this to me before the match was officially announced)

The Green Teabagger: I don’t give a damn. If there is any justice, Beth Phoenix will just go apeshit and tear everyone apart. Hell, Smackdown wins this one.

ThinkSoJoE: There is no way in hell that the RAW Divas should be able to win this with Beth Phoenix and Natalya on Team SmackDown. But of course, if The Miz is going to win his match, Team RAW has to win this one to make it seem like RAW is still the dominant brand.

What’s up everyone and welcome to the second edition of the Roundtable. Tonight I am your host as we sit down and predict this Sunday’s “Hell In A Cell” pay per view! Tonight we all of the BWF staff on board with their predictions, so without further ado, let’s get this show on the road:

1. World Heavyweight Championship Match- CM Punk vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell Match):

Legend Killer: Punk retains. Oh yeah, nobody else picks it, but watch for Batista.

ThinkSoJoE: We still don’t know for sure who put Long, Punk, and Scott Armstrong up to screwing The Undertaker at Breaking Point, so I’m sure that he’ll get screwed again at Hell In A Cell. Punk’s leaving with the gold.

Tharvey1: Undertaker over CM Punk

Drowgoddess: I want CM Punk to win and retain the title. It’s considered a foregone conclusion that Taker wins here, but it’s just too soon. Taker winning here makes no sense.

JT: It is more logical to have Punk retain here since he has people to feud with such as Batista, Rey Mysterio, And even to a lesser extent Great Khali and John Morrsion. If Taker wins he has Kane and that’s about it unless they turn Batista heel, which I don’t see happening. Punk retains.

2. Divas Championship Match- Mickie James vs. Alicia Fox:

Legend Killer: Mickie James. Who the hell is Alicia Fox?

ThinkSoJoE: Why even have a Hell in a Cell PPV if you don’t have EVERY match inside a Hell In A Cell? This one will be a victory for Mickie James if the WWE wants their women’s division to have even an ounce of credibility compared to TNA’s

Tharvey1: Mickie James over Alicia Fox

Drowgoddess: Mickie James. That Alicia Fox is even in a ppv title match is appalling.

JT: Mickie James. Do I really need to explain.

3. WWE Championship Match- John Cena vs. Randy Orton (Hell in a Cell Match):

Legend Killer: Cena. Because the WWE are like that.

ThinkSoJoE: Cena just won the title. Cena sells merchandise. WWE have a new toy deal starting in January with Mattel, and cheap looking toy championships to sell. Cena ain’t losing at HIAC.

Tharvey1: John Cena over Randy Orton

Drowgoddess: Cena wins. After the last RAW, it’s a given.

JT: I think that the stipulation in that if Orton loses, he can’t have another title shot. So, I’m going with Orton here. Plus like with Punk, it’s better for Orton to be champ, since he can go on to feud with HHH and HBK and even the long awaited Mark Henry feud we’ve all been waiting for. If Cena wins, he has nobody and babyface vs. babyface feuds can’t happen all the time.

4. D-Generation X vs. The Legacy (Hell in a Cell Match):

Legend Killer: DX. See previous match. Also, Cody Rhodes was Rey Mysterio jr. in WCW.

ThinkSoJoE: If there wasn’t another PPV between now and Survivor Series, there would be no question in my mind about Legacy winning this match. My assumption is that they’re still booking DX & Cena vs. Orton and Legacy as the dark main event for RAW events after Bragging Rights later this month, the theory of DX finally getting their revenge at Survivor Series could still hold up. I’m going to go with Legacy here.

Tharvey1: DX over Legacy

Drowgoddess: Who are we kidding? DX wins here, and in humiliating fashion. I completely disagree with the people who say that DX has effectively put over Legacy, and that a DX win at HIAC is acceptable.

JT: I’ve got two words for ya: “DX WINS!” I don’t see Legacy having any chance here.

5. United States Championship Match- Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz vs. Jack Swagger:

Legend Killer: The Miz. His opponents are a palm tree after a bushfire, and the second is the re-incarnation of Dusty Rhodes.
ThinkSoJoe: All three of these guys have been in a game of one-upsmanship over the past few weeks. Kofi’s outsmarted Miz and Swagger on a few occasions, leading me to believe he’s retaining.

Tharvey1: Jack Swagger over Miz and Kofi Kingston

Drowgoddess: I like all three of these guys, and will be happy no matter who wins. That said, I’m going with Kofi to retain, and Swagger and The Miz to develop a feud of their own over it.

JT: Kofi Kingstion has been champion since June, so a title change is eminent. I’m gonna go with Swagger here.

6. Unified Tag Team Championship Match- Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. Batista & Rey Mysterio:

Legend Killer: Batista and Rey. You really see them losing? Silly wrestling fan, WWE is for kids. Yes, the WWE is now a breakfast cereal.

ThinkSoJoE: Look. I’m going to give the same prediction I’ve given before. They took the time to have a band come in and remake a remix of Jericho and Big Show’s theme music. They’re not splitting the team up this quickly by ending their reign at Hell In A Cell. If they do, and I have to see Batista when RAW comes to Buffalo in three weeks, I’ll be very upset.

Tharvey1: JeriShow over Boretista and Rey Mysterio

Drowgoddess: Batista and Rey would not be in this match if they weren’t going to win it. I don’t want them to, but I predict that they will. That said, I want JeriShow to retain until Edge comes back, and have Edge and Jericho start their inevitable feud with Edge and Christian (who will have lost the ECW title to Regal) winning the tag team titles one more time.

JT: There hasn’t been enough build for this match for me to believe that the titles will change hands. Plus Mysterio has unfinished business with John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler. Plus both Rey and Batista are the next in line to be World Title contenders. Jericho and Big Show retain and keep thetitles until Edge returns and causes them to lose them.

7. Intercontinental Championship Match- John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler:

Legend Killer: errrr … Morrison?

ThinkSoJoE: PLEASE let Ziggler win. It’s no secret that I’m a huge JoMo mark, but the whole “Mr. Ziggles” thing got real old, real quick. I want Ziggler to win just so Morrison will take him seriously enough to stop calling him that. So, my pick is Ziggler.

Tharvey1: John Morrison over Dolph Ziggler

Drowgoddess: Ziggler has been doing well, and I like the guy more than I thought I would, but I don’t see the Guru of Greatness losing the title just yet. With the hint of a Maria heel turn recently, I’d like to see a slow burn on that where Maria eventually does something despicable to help Ziggler win the title, and we have a new heel couple. Morrison retains.

JT: With Rey returning, I think that he’ll want a rematch for the title at some point, probably the first or second Smackdown after the pay per view, and he will face the champion, John Morrison! Ziggler’s day is coming though.

Alright that’s all thanks for joining us for this edition of the BWF Roundtable. Tune in tomorrow for “Hell In A Cell” coverage, plus an all new Random Randomness!
