  1. Bored Wrestling Fan Radio Episode 70

Yup. Just like the Thursday show is called “Superstars”

This week, G’s ass has ripples and JT’s been pretty clogged, while Jorge laughs maniacally and Joe eats brains.  Or something like that.  Then we put the whole thing through Gizoogle, biatch.  RAW recap, Main Event mania, and SmackDown synopsis, followed by some Iron Sheik goodness and the news!  When will we see Punk again?  Which WWE Hall of Famer almost backed out of the induction ceremony?  Who were the WWE Eurocontinental Champions?  Why am I asking you?  We obviously know the answers, and you can hear us stumble over them by clicking the link below!

The BWF Radio crew is back to discuss another week in professional wrestling.  We talk RAW, IMPACT, SmackDown, No Surrender, ROH iPPV, and Night of Champions.  We take time to wish Jerry “The King” Lawler well as we discuss his heart attack from this past Monday’s RAW.  We talk about Sunny being arrested three times in three days, and WWE’s decision to sponsor her rehab – again.  We discuss our love of Team Friendship, our hatred of earlier WWE video games’ “Create A Belt” feature, and we issue a warning to not accept a facebook friend request from somebody who looks like Maria Kanellis because it may wind up getting you killed.  All this and much, much more here on Bored Wrestling Fan Radio, Episode 40!

  4. Isn’t A Name Meant To Describe What You Actually Are?

That’s the one thing I thought I knew. The reason something is called what it is, is so people can identify with something.

Also a name isn’t meant to be misleading. The name is meant to describe what your product is about. This website’s name is Bored Wrestling Fan, because we are all bored, it’s about Wrestling (mostly), and we’re all fans of wrestling (mostly). So why is it, that the two mainstream wrestling companies have completely misleading names?

  5. BWF Radio 10: Pintnoir and G form the Wolfpack

It’s Sunday, and you know that means it’s time for another installment of Bored Wrestling Fan Radio. This week was a little different than our regular format. ThinkSoJoE was kidnapped, and duct-taped to a chair by Stone Cold Steve Austin, J.T. tore his quad walking across the ring, and DrowGoddess turned face in Toronto facing the Rock. Since Vince McMahon never bothered to ressurect the Wolfpack, Pintnoir and myself did one better. We made the show happen. I’m not sure which of us is Sting or Scott Steiner, but I assure you, neither of us are Buff Bagwell.

This week we discussed the results of the Royal Rumble, RAW, Impact Wrestling, and Smackdown. We took time to focus on the little things while going through the results, addressing some issues that have bothered or pleased us during the week.

  6. ThinkSoJoE’s Thoughts: Branching Out?

Greetings, fellow Bored Wrestling Fans, it is I, ThinkSoJoE here with another edition of the rarely seen “ThinkSoJoE’s Thoughts.”  The WWE is in my hometown this weekend for it’s annual Night of Champions Pay Per View, and yours truly will be there.

It is because the WWE Superstars and Divas are in Buffalo as I type this, just a few short miles from my home, that I sent out the very first fax on BoredWrestlingFan.com company letterhead.  Hell, before today there was no such thing as BWF company letterhead.  The fax was to WWE Media Credentials, a request to interview WWE Superstars and Divas for the site.  As it’s Friday and the show is Sunday, I highly doubt I’m going to get a positive response to this particular request, but I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to get our staff in good at future events.

There is another event that I have my eye on covering coming up next month.  I will report back as soon as I have any confirmation or denial with more details of what that particular event is.  Stay tuned.

If you’re not already, please follow us on Twitter, @BrdWrstlngFn, where this Sunday I will be tweeting as I attend Night of Champions live in Buffalo, NY!

  7. The Price is RAW, Bitch!

That’s right, Bob Barker is hosting WWE RAW tonight – which is the only reason I’m even bothering to write RAW results tonight.  Don’t know what else is going on, and I don’t really care.  Come on down, you’re the next contestant on the Wrestling Fan is Bored!

  8. Bored Wrestling Fan turns 1!

It’s been a year already?  Normally after a year, I get bored with websites I create and they sit around with no updates – case in point.  BoredWrestlingFan.com is different.  After a year, BWF still updates nearly every day, sometimes several times a day.  Our fan base continues to grow, and so does our site.

A big thank you to JT (who was the only person to have seen the BWF prototype besides myself), Drowgoddess (who is now the Executive Shareholder of BWF – she paid the 10 bucks to renew the domain), Legend Killer, and tharvey1.  I couldn’t do this without you guys.  A thank you to Vincent Kennedy McMahon, whose World Wrestling Federation got me into professional wrestling at a young age.  Thank you to Ted Turner and Eric Bischoff for revitalizing wrestling in the ’90s.  Thank you to Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter for kinda sorta keeping Vince on his toes.  And mostly, thank you to all of the BWF readers for keeping us going when the shows start to suck (I’m looking at you, RAW).

Here’s to another great year of growth for BoredWrestlingFan!
