Well, I guess I have no excuses not to review the WWE shows anymore - I lost my job yesterday. Damned George W Bush. Oh well, that’s almost over. What’s not over? Jeff Hardy’s WWE Championship reign! After winning the title in Buffalo at Armageddon, he survived an assault from Vladimir Kozlov and Edge last week, with a little help from Triple H. What’s SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero got in store for the Unique Enigma this week? We’ll soon find out!

Although I did see this show (and it was an excellent show, BTW.), I didn’t manage to get a chance to write about it. I will say this though, it was definitely all about the Troops, which was nice. Usually when WWE is on NBC (see “Saturday Night’s Main Event”), they take the opportunity to try and sell their brand to casual viewers. Not this time though. The wrestling was secondary to honoring our fighting men and women in the Armed Forces.

As stated yesterday, I’ve been super busy lately, to the point that I haven’t even gotten to watch SmackDown from this past Friday, which included Jeff Hardy’s title celebration. However, since you guys are good to me, here (after the jump, of course) are the results, courtesy of Rajah.com!
Sorry for the lack of updates on my part, folks, I’ve just been super burnt out the last few days for some reason. It’s probably got to do with my current employment situation (which is that my work may potentially be closing - don’t worry about me though, I have a plan), or maybe it’s got to do with the impending launch of a new site through my company, Fropac Entertainment - but more onthat when I get to it. All of that is irrelevant, though, as we’ve got a NEW WWE CHAMPION in Jeff Hardy!

I’ve been sitting on my ass the last four hours and haven’t even thought about Armageddon until just now. There’s less than 8 minutes until the show, so I’m going to run through the card real quick and give you my predictions!
Jericho vs. Cena - World Title - Cena
Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. HHH - Edge.
CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio - Punk. I was going to say Mysterio, but after Punk dropped the tag titles last night, it seems more logical that he’d be in line for the Intercontinental Championship.
Matt Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov - Kozlov
Batista vs. Randy Orton - Orton
Michelle McCool, Maria, Mickie James & Kelly Kelly vs. Victoria, Natalya, Jillian & Maryse - I didn’t even know about this one, but I’m going to say Victoria’s team.
Finlay vs. Mark Henry - Whoever wins, hopefully this will be the end of it. Which would indicate that Finlay will probably win.
Enjoy Armageddon, I’ll be around tomorrow with a review!
Two days before the WWE Superstars invade Buffalo, NY for Armageddon, co-number one contenders for Edge’s WWE Championship, Jeff Hardy & Triple H, will square off one on one. All this and more, on Friday Night SmackDown!

You guys should feel special. I’m home, and Metalocalypse is on, yet I’m gearing up to fire up the DVR and cover WWE RAW. The Slammy Awards were presented tonight and there were several matches to go along with them. I’m not in a creative writing mood at the moment, so let’s just jump right into the action!
RAW results and thoughts, after the jump!
Alright, long time readers know that we don’t usually do show previews here on the site. In fact, I’m not even sure if “preview” is the right word for this particular article. Last week in the RAW on DVR review, I looked at the six nominees for WWE Superstar of the year. This morning I’d like to take a deeper lookat the Slammys, since the nominees have all been revealed.
What’s up everyone, greetings from JTland! Time for some more randomness from inside my head.
