Friday suffering time commences now… sheesh, I hope Smackdown picks up the pace this week. We still have somethings awesome on the show like CM Punk and Kane’s mega-produced ring segments. And the Undertaker is slated to return tonight…

It’s that time of the week where your foolish smark “G” or “Gee,” if you will, suffers through the sinking ship that is Smackdown. Sinking, you say? Yes, the ratings are slumping. The so-called Smackdown Six format is long gone and we’ve been left with a ridiculously worsening product for some time now… so let’s get to it, shall we?

Tonight is the WWE’s last show before Summerslam. Today is also the day where it was reported that former grappler Lance Cade has passed away at the extremely young age of 29. Heart failure is being reported as the cause… Yes, it does suck to start off a show with news like this, but that’s the way it goes. Rest in Peace Mr. Cade.

Another episode of Smackdown is upon us… oh joy! Nine days away from Summerslam, which is looking decent as a card… not fantastic, though. So let’s see what those crazy McMahon’s have in store for us… tonight? Well technically two Tuesdays ago, since this was a pretape.

Another week, another Smackdown… hopefully my apartment won’t pretend to burn down again this time? Guess what, the alarm went off early Monday morning as well! Right after drinking my face off at the Calgary Stampede into the wee hours… I live on the top floor of an apartment building, and lucky me, people have been working on repairs all week… it wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have a night job. So needless to say, I’ve gotten very little sleep this week. Let’s see if Smackdown can keep me awake…

Hey, it’s Friday night and you know what that means…. choke down ecstasy and dance all night to hard trance music? Well, no… no thanks. It means G suffers through his long shift at work, then comes back and suffers through Smackdown for you. And this is the go home SD before Sunday’s PPV… which I won’t even be stealing since I’ll be getting sloshed at the Calgary Stampede… count on it!

Up here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, we kicked off the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth – The Calgary Stampede today. Well technically it starts on Thursday, and technically, it’s not that great, rather just a midway that travels throughout the Great White North and a big rodeo competition. I wonder what happened on Smackdown subsequently…

Happy 4th of July to all of my brothers and sisters in the States, hope you all celebrate it safely and responsibly.  Canada Day was also this week too, so Happy Canada Day to all of my Canada Brothers and Sisters too, hope you all enjoyed your day.
