  2. The War On.. 2K, Not Two Thousand And Why Society These Days Is Completely Destroyed

What’s this? WWE made another video game? Does it look like the last one? Well.. yeah, probably. You know, slight tweaks and the shizz, but it’s bascially the same thing. However, instead of arenas from the ‘Attitude Era’, WWE 2K14 is based around WrestleMania, as 2014 will celebrate WrestleMania 30, with 29 WrestleMania arenas that apparently look ‘exactly’ like their real-life counterpart.

Does that mean when Triple H comes out in the WrestleMania 21 arena, Lemmy will forget the words to his theme music?

I mean.. at least he somewhat remembered the words four years earlier at WrestleMania X-Seven..

I know what you’re thinking: Doth mine eyes deceive me?  Am I correctly seeing that the fair maiden, AlyKat, hath indeed written another compelling and entrancing review for Monday Night RAW?!  Your eyes do not deceive you, my dear friend, and I have indeed.  I have been working a lot of Monday nights in a row, but tonight I am not, thus I am back.

  4. WWE Over The Limit 2011 – predictions & results

I’ve always said that BoredWrestlingFan.com is a site created by wrestling fans for wrestling fans. That’s absolutely true. We’re not “insiders.” We don’t work for any wrestling organization. We are normal people with jobs just like all of you, and sometimes real life gets in the way of our ability to meet deadlines here on BWF. Hence why you haven’t seen a RAW or SmackDown review for the last couple of weeks. That’s also the explanation for this article, for you see, we decided at the last minute to throw together a roundtable discussion for the WWE Over The Limit 2011 Pay Per View event, and I was supposed to post it. The problem is, I was busy all weekend, and at the point that I was going to post it, crazy stuff happened that prevented me from doing so. That’s irrelevant, anyhow, so let’s get started!

  5. Macho Randomness

After the events of friday, I decided not to do a regular Random Randomness.  I’m gonna keep this short and sweet.  I’m not gonna boast on how great Macho Man was because we all know how great he was.  I’m now gonna say how his match with Ricky Steamboat at Wrestlamania 3 was the greatest Wreatlamania match of all time because we all know it is.  I will say that he was one of the people next to my father (R.I.P.) who was a large part of me being a wrestling fan.  Maybe now Vince will get his head out of his ass and finally induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame.  But most of all I need to say is this:

THANK YOU “MACHO MAN” RANDY SAVAGE!  MAY YOU REST IN PEACE!

  6. Remembering Randy Savage

    TMZ reports:

Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ … Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median … through oncoming traffic … and “collided head-on with a tree.”

Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.

Savage’s wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision — but survived with “minor injuries.” She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated.

I grew up watching “Macho Man” Randy Savage on television each and every week.  I started to become a fan during Savage’s initial WWE Championship run, culminating with his match at WrestleMania V with Hulk Hogan.  When I woke up this afternoon and saw that TMZ was reporting Savage passed, I refused to believe it, but the news is spreading like wildfire and I can’t pretend forever.

Randy Savage, for me, was the premiere architect of what a professional wrestler should be.  Detail oriented in the ring, and entertaining as hell outside of it.  When “Pomp & Circumstance” came through the PA at a wrestling event, you knew you were in for something special.

I’m at a complete loss for words, so I’ll leave you with one of my favorite Macho Man quotes.

“The camera is that way, yeah. Sense of direction I’ve always had, but a little help along the way, just like a good quick shove, is somethin’ nice to have, yeah!”

Please feel free to leave your Macho Man memories in the comments below!

    RIP Randy “Macho Man” Savage

    May you two be reunited...
